Who Sets the Spec on a 44-Inch Sublimation Paper Roll_

A brand sent a logo and the line “44 inch, OEM/ODM.” Their printer is 44 inches. They wanted their name on the carton. Nobody had said whether we should follow a finished spec or propose one. A roll cut from that email often will not load.

Do the width first. Then say who picks the paper. Either you already know the roll, or you want us to propose a grade from the press and the cloth. The logo can wait until that is settled.

Match 44 inches to a real width

111.8 cm is the number to write down

44 inches is 111.8 cm. Too wide, and the roll will not mount. Too narrow, and you paid to coat a stripe the heads never reach. Write 111.8 cm in the email. “About 44 inch” is how one quote returns at 112 cm and another at 111.8 cm, and both sides think they matched.

của chúng tôi 100gsm fast-dry roll is made at 91.4 cm, 111.8 cm, 127 cm, 162 cm and 183 cm. Length is about 100 to 200 metres. The ink is disperse, the cloth is polyester. 111.8 cm is also a stock width on the 60gsm, 70gsm and 90gsm fast-dry rolls. The 50gsm jumbo is a separate list: 61 cm, 91.4 cm, 112 cm, 122 cm, 162 cm and 183 cm, about 300 to 3000 metres. A jumbo quote does not include a 44-inch printer unless you ask for 111.8 cm by the centimetre figure.

The logo does not choose the gsm

Weight follows the cloth and the ink load. Light sheets, about 29 to 40 gsm, are what we wind for fast fashion. Sportswear and thicker polyester carry more ink, so we move up: 60, 70, 90, then 100 gsm. A flag with a heavy blue field needs the sheet that can hold that ink. A thin poly shirt with a light all-over can take a lighter sheet, as long as it is dry before take-up.

On the 100gsm fast-dry roll the coating is even. A full-coverage print is less likely to sit wet along the edge. Store it sealed, near 40 to 50 percent humidity, and the roll stays flat. On polyester, press this one around 225°C for about 20 seconds. Those figures belong to this roll. Do not copy them onto a cotton shirt, and do not copy them onto the 50gsm jumbo. That jumbo is a different build.

Say who is filling in the grade

    You already know the roll

Some buyers arrive with the list finished. Gsm. 111.8 cm. Core. Metres. Packing. The name on the carton. Send the list. We coat and slit to it, and the pack can carry your label.

Mills call that OEM. Plain version: you wrote the spec, we make it. The six lines, and how a private-label order uses them, are in How a Private-Label Roll Order Works. Open that after the six lines are real. A logo file still leaves width, gsm, core, length and packing blank.

Tell us if the unwind is 2 inch or 3 inch. The trial roll has to show up on that core, cap on. We wind both.

You know the press, and you want a grade proposed

Other buyers put the 44-inch printer in last month. Jerseys on Monday, flags on Thursday, and no gsm they trust yet. Send the measured width, the ink name, and a swatch or a photo of the cloth. Ask us to name a grade.

Mills call that ODM. We pick a coating and a weight. You print it on your press. If you accept it, that roll is the one that gets your label. We can tune the coating for a different dry time, and we can wind a core other than the one on a stock photo. The trial length is your yes or no. A color swatch on a random width is not that test.

If the week really holds both kinds of work, split them. Flags you have printed all year may already be a spec. New jerseys may still need a grade from us. Two grades, two trial lengths. One line that says “OEM/ODM, 44 inch” makes one confused roll.

Prove the choice on that printer

The sample is 111.8 cm, on your ink

Ask for the width, the gsm you are deciding, and your core. Print a file you sell, on your polyester. Wet ink at take-up, or a heavy color that looks thin, means change the grade and print again while it is still a sample. Learning the difference between 100 gsm and 70 gsm after the cartons already show your name is the expensive version.

We also slit from 61 cm to 320 cm when a line needs a width outside the stock set. That only helps if the width you measured is the width on the piece you approved. Across the các loại giấy in chuyển nhiệt, weight and width are chosen for the job. There is no single default roll for every 44-inch job.

    The bulk copies the sample

Copy width, gsm, core, length, packing and label from the approved piece onto the order. A later email that says “make it longer” or “the other core ships easier” needs its own short test. Length changes how often you stop. Core decides whether the roll mounts.

    Kết luận

On a 44-inch printer, order 111.8 cm. Then either you already have gsm, core, length, packing and a label, or you want a grade proposed from the press and the cloth. Changfa kỹ thuật số will coat and slit that width, add your label when you ask, and wind a 2 inch or a 3 inch core. Send the measured width, the fabric, the ink, and which of the two you are. The trial length can be the roll you repeat.

    Câu hỏi thường gặp

Q1: Our printer is 44 inches. Will a 112 cm roll fit?

A1: 112 cm is a real width on the 50gsm jumbo. 111.8 cm is the 44-inch width on the fast-dry rolls above. Measure the throat and order that number. “Close” either hits the side plate or leaves a gap the heads cannot print.

Q2: Can one trial roll cover a jersey and a flag?

A2: Only if they share gsm, ink load and fabric. A light jersey and a flag with a solid ground usually want different weights. Print the heavier file, or print both, before you lock a grade.

Q3: We only have the label artwork. Is that already OEM?

A3: The label is the last line. OEM here means you already know width, gsm, core, length and packing, and we make that roll under your name. Artwork alone means ask for a proposed grade, and print it at 111.8 cm before any carton is printed.
